** Please note that the studio and engineer rates are for 8-10 hour days. If you would like to continue your session longer than ten hours, the rate increases to $95 per hour for Bill Stevenson or Jason Livermore, or $65 per hour for Andrew Berlin. Working past ten hours in a day is at the sole discretion of the engineer, regardless of circumstances.

*** Our billing process is based on the amount of time spent on the project. No project includes "unlimited mix recalls" unless specifically agreed upon, in writing.

*****Mastering prices include one or two rounds of revisions, as necessary. After two references, there is a charge for additional recalls. Vinyl mastering process is very different from the digital mastering, so if you want a vinyl version of your master, please let us know ahead of time. There's a 25% additional charge for a vinyl master version that's made at the same time as the digital version.

To book a session, call or email us.

When to book?

We recommend booking your session roughly 5 months in advance, particularly for longer sessions, but smaller sessions can sometimes be booked with less advance time.

When and how to pay?

We require 50% deposit to book a session. The balance will be collected upon your arrival at the blasting room (please bring payment with you).
For mastering, payment in full or credit card information is expected to arrive with tapes or files.

Call first to arrange credit card payment.

Studio day rates do not include staff engineer, which is required unless we have a long working history with the visiting engineer.

If your band is coming from a country other than the United States, we require a wire transfer for full payment of the session costs prior to the first day of the session.

If a label is paying for the recording, please put us in contact with the label, so that we may coordinate payment arrangements with them.
